Kaffe · a free, private bookshelf
A shared reading list for your group
A shared reading list is useful for families, friend groups and book clubs, as long as it stays among the people it's meant for. Kaffe offers that for free.
Inside Kaffe you create a private circle and send its link to the people you want in it. Then you can build a list together: pick one person, two people or the whole circle, and every recipient can add books. Nothing on the list is searchable or public.
Each person also keeps their own shelf of finished books and audiobooks. In your reading circle, Kaffe shows a list of books that two or more members want to read, most wanted first, and shows each person the books others loved that they haven't read. On any book, members can leave a star rating and a short note of up to 280 characters.
Kaffe accounts need only a name and a password, with no email or real name. It's free, has no ads, and works in the browser on phones and computers.
Start your own reading circle: free, with just a name and a password. No email, no ads.
